Give the gift of mental fitness.

Building stronger, healthier brains for a better future

For 20+ years our preventative mental health program has equipped students, educators and families with mental fitness tools that build greater emotional literacy and improve resilience to face challenges with optimism, strength, and compassion

The Teen Brain
Directed by Tiffany Shlain | Executive Produced by Goldie Hawn

MindUP is excited to announce the premiere of The Teen Brain!

This 10-minute film, executive produced by MindUP founder Goldie Hawn, was created to help further understanding and spark conversations about this critical time of brain development.

The power of mental fitness

Our evidence-based curriculum creates long-term impact by teaching about the emotional center of the brain. Each of our lessons has a direct neurological correlate to strengthen students’ ability to regulate emotions, focus attention and build empathy.

Neuroscience

+

Learn how the prefrontal cortexhippocampus, and amygdala each play a role in helping focus attention and regulate emotions.

Mindful Awareness

+

Build the skills of mindful awareness and self-regulation through our signature practice, the Brain Break.

Social-Emotional Learning

+

Create lasting community in the classroom and beyond through lessons that strengthen well-being and healthy relationships.

Positive Psychology

+

Make the science of happiness part of your school’s culture through kindness, optimism, and gratitude.

“These are our children, they are our future. It’s time to advocate for preventative mental health programs in every school.”
