Today more than ever, children need the tools to manage stress and build resiliency. In order to continue living our mission of providing those tools for children, we have designed a training model that allows us to bring MindUP to schools virtually. We are currently offering a series of virtual MindUP trainings for schools, parents and caregivers, and school districts.

Dr. Jacqueline L. Sanderlin has over 30 years of experience as an educator in grades K-12. She has successfully served as a special education teacher, curriculum specialist, principal, after-school administrator, district administrator, and executive director of school and community engagement. Her work with school-community partnerships has led to dramatic improvements in some of Southern California’s most challenged schools. She is a national speaker and author of The Why Not Challenge: Say “Yes” to School and Community Partnerships. She provides professional learning workshops to educators and leaders about building school-community partnerships, educational equity, social-emotional learning, trauma-informed practices and restorative practices. She is a board member for The Goldie Hawn Foundation, MindUp and Steering Committee member for SEL4CA (Social Emotional Learning Alliance for California). In 2018, Dr. Sanderlings founded a consulting firm, the Why Not Incubator.
