Victoria Gonzalez — Executive Director

Victoria comes from a background including not-for-profit and general business, where she specialized in marketing, development, events, product placement, chamber/civic public/private alliances, and worked significantly with donors and government officials. She is fully bilingual and has over 15 years experience in management and communications.  A well-traveled professional, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Florida International University.

Sara Uhlig — Marketing and Events Manager

Sara Uhlig is a Master of Arts graduate from Durham, North Carolina, holding both an M.A in Arts Administration and a B.F.A in Dramatic Writing from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Since 2013 she has assisted with programming and development within a number of organizations in the eastern United States, including the SCAD Museum of Art in Savannah, GA and New York Theatre Intensives in New York City. In 2014 she was 1 of twelve chosen participants to help design and implement an interior design and administrative strategy for the new Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts in Gloversville, NY. Sara has been a part of the The Hawn Foundation since 2015 and has a natural passion for marketing and programming for non-profit organizations and other charitable endeavors.

Augusto Cividini — Administrative Assistant

Augusto Cividini is very excited and grateful for the opportunity to join The Hawn Foundation team as an Administrative Assistant. He graduated in 2017 from Vassar College with major concentrations in Behavioral Neuroscience and Latin American LatinX Studies. His academic and professional interests are in the intersectional and interdisciplinary practice of social justice and equity in human rights, health, education, and the law. He previously worked at the Creative Capital Foundation in NYC and most recently worked with ForSisters in Miami. Augusto was born in the US Virgin Islands and raised in Miami by his Argentinean parents.

Julia Organ — Director of Education & Training

Julia is a graduate of Psychology from The University of London and a qualified teacher. She has over 25 years experience working in education, both in the UK and Internationally, including roles in Headship, School Improvement and Initial Teacher Training. Julia brings a wealth of expertise to leading the UK arm of The Hawn Foundation and manages relationships with our European Partners. As Education Director, Julia leads on MindUP™ curriculum and training development and monitors the quality and fidelity of the implementation of MindUP™  in schools across the UK and Europe.

Emily Phillips — Program Manager

Emily Phillips is a graduate of Classics and Philosophy from The University of Leeds. Emily has previously worked for volunteer-led trusts and has a keen interest in charity work, teaching and fundraising. Having obtained her degree in 2016, Emily then traveled to India as a volunteer, on behalf of the British Council, teaching English to children across a wide range of ages. As Program Manager for The Hawn Foundation UK, Emily assists with coordinating MindUP™ training and events and working relationships with schools. She is in charge of managing all office operations and administration, and managing our social media.

 Rachel Bailey — Training and School Partnership Lead

Rachel has over 25 years experience working in education, including roles in teaching, senior leadership in schools, and as school improvement consultant for local authorities, regional government and education charities. Rachel brings a wealth of expertise and passion to the team to enable students and staff to grow, learn and thrive within happy, successful, dynamic learning environments. As our Schools Partnership and Training lead, Rachel is tasked with developing and leading quality MindUP™ training and development for schools, along with facilitating networking opportunities and CPD for all MindUP™ leads in our UK Schools.

Faye Allen — Training and Curriculum Lead

Faye is a graduate from the University of Leeds in French and Spanish and a qualified teacher with six years of experience. Faye is a class teacher and has been teaching MindUP™ since 2013, successfully implementing and leading the program in two Inner city primary schools in London with children from diverse backgrounds. This year we are delighted that Faye joins The Hawn Foundation UK team as a secondee from Fielding Primary School, London. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise as an outstanding teacher to her role of Training and Curriculum Lead. Faye is tasked with supporting MindUP™ training for schools and digital curriculum resource development. Faye is an expert in bringing MindUP™ to life in her classroom and embeds neuroscience and mindful awareness practices into daily teaching and learning throughout her school.
